Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MYBHA) is a registered association under the Societies Act 1966, formerly known as The Malaysia Budget Hotel Association (MBHA). Established in 2001 under the leadership of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, MYBHA aims to represent and dignify the common interests of budget and business hotels in Malaysia, specifically focusing on three-star rated hotels and below.
MYBHA’s mission is to advocate for the interests of budget and business hotel industry owners and operators, including its members. The association is dedicated to fostering economic and professional growth within the industry, contributing to community development, and promoting sustainability.
With a vision to be the most effective industry and trade association representing the budget and business hotel industry in Malaysia, MYBHA is committed to enhancing the image of the industry and addressing issues faced by its members. Through proactive representation and collaboration with relevant parties and agencies, MYBHA strives to contribute significantly to the tourism sector and the overall economy of Malaysia.
