The Malaysia Shipowners’ Association (MASA), founded in 1976, is dedicated to safeguarding and advancing the interests of Malaysian shipowners. Serving as the nation’s sole representative body for shipowners, MASA holds a pivotal position in shaping the trajectory of the shipping sector. With a focus on promoting growth and resilience within the national shipping industry, MASA actively advocates for policies and initiatives conducive to its development.
Comprising 104 ordinary members and 257 associate members, MASA represents a diverse spectrum of stakeholders within the maritime community. From cargo and ferry services to cruise shipping and ship registry, MASA champions the interests of Malaysian-registered vessels across various domains of shipping services.
Through its proactive stance and collaborative approach, MASA remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a robust and prosperous shipping industry for Malaysia.
