The Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has been a vital resource for businesses since its establishment on 20th July 1951. With a primary objective of promoting commerce and industry in the State, the Chamber serves as a key communication channel for member-businesses with the Government of Malaysia, Government of Sarawak, and other Chambers of Commerce & Industries.
To better cater to its diverse membership base, the SCCI has formed Regional Committees in Bintulu, Sibu, and Miri. At the national level, the Chamber facilitates connections between its members and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI).
On the international front, SCCI holds an associate membership with the Brunei-Indonesia Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Business Council, representing a vast land area and a population of 57.5 million.
Fostering strong relationships, the Chamber actively engages with consular representations in the state, including the Consulates General of China, Indonesia, and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
In extending an invitation to businesses and companies, including Small and Medium Enterprises, the SCCI encourages them to leverage the database and benefits offered by the Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
