The Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Malaysia (Persatuan Pengusahaan-Pengusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana Malaysia) was established in 1986 to champion the development of SMEs in Malaysia. Their objectives include fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, promoting trade opportunities, facilitating technical advancements, and serving as an advocate for SMEs.
The association assists, promotes, and develops SMEs across the country, identifies new markets, organizes trade missions and events, collects and shares valuable information, and provides consultancy services. They also act as a communication channel between SMEs and government bodies, advocating for SME interests and policies. Their mission is to empower and support the growth of SMEs in Malaysia.
